It was a long time ago, back in 2002, when I decided to write a user guide for the use of strong magnets in simulated parapsychology experiments. What started as a simple guide quickly evolved into something much more comprehensive.

I began my work on a Saturday morning and didn’t stop until Sunday evening. Initially, I intended to create a straightforward manual. However, as I progressed, everything I had seen, tested, learned, or experimented with over the years came flooding back to me. This is how the simple guide transformed into the booklet you now hold in your hands.

The manuscript was set aside for a while, occasionally revisited for updates and corrections. I also took the opportunity to incorporate the experiences and practices of a great enthusiast in the field: a magician from Dijon known by the pseudonym Balsamo. I extend my heartfelt thanks to him for his invaluable advice.
