The magician and spectator each have a shuffled deck of cards with different backs. Both decks are clearly shown. They alternately place cards face up on a table, creating a pile. At three chosen moments, two face-down cards are exchanged between the piles.

Without any suspicious moves or sleight of hand, when the decks are spread, three pairs of cards perfectly match – the backs (e.g., Bicycle, Tally Ho, Aviator, Phoenix) and, when flipped over, the faces! It’s simple, direct, and astonishing.

The Coincidenc3 is the ultimate coincidence. And now, it can be yours.
For many years, Elías D’Sastre has fooled magicians all over the world with The Coincidenc3, and they have declared it the best coincidence they have ever seen in their lives. And the best part? It’s almost automatic—no sleight of hand is required. You can perform it anywhere and learn it in less than 5 minutes. The reset can be done right in front of the audience without raising any suspicion.
The effect of The Coincidenc3 is as follows: the magician has one deck of cards, and the spectator has another, each with different backs. Both decks are shown, including their faces and backs. Then, both decks are shuffled independently. The magician and the spectator alternately place cards face up on the table, forming a pile, and whenever they feel the moment is right, they stop. At this point, two cards are exchanged face down, and the process continues with more face-up cards, exchanging another two cards. This process is repeated three times in total.
Without any strange moves or special techniques, both decks are spread face up, revealing three cards with identical backs (if the spectator uses Bicycle, Tally Ho, Aviator, Phoenix, etc., those backs will be clearly visible). When the cards are turned over, the three face-down cards match perfectly. It’s that simple and that powerful—The Coincidenc3.
What’s most interesting is that it’s easy to perform and reset. You just switch the cards, and you’re done. You can also match the cards in any way you want. Plus, you can even use a spectator’s deck to perform the trick, as long as it’s a standard deck.
