A normal deck is fairly shuffled. With your head turned, you start dealing cards to the table. They reach in and grab a card whenever they’d like (no forces or difficult timing procedures). This card is then lost in the deck. Despite these impossible conditions, you’re still able to find their card. The best part? It’s totally impromptu and uses a genuine beginner-level principle in a way that’s so clever that it will fool your most experienced magician friends. You can even use a borrowed deck.
On the Fly ACAAN
Two decks are shuffled. One participant chooses a card from one deck. The other participant then splits their deck into two halves. The top two cards of that deck are turned over and added together to reach a number. The first participant’s card is then found at that number in their deck. No preparation or stack work is required.
No Touch ACAAN
You write a prediction as they fairly mix a block of cards. They then select a card and mix the packet further under the table before dealing the cards into some piles in any order. These piles are then stacked in any order they want. Your prediction is opened to reveal a number. Despite all the choices they made, their card is at that number. This is a masterclass in controlling memory.
Semi-Automatic Open Prediction
You place a card in the box as a prediction. They then think of a card from the deck. Without any sleight of hand, sticky cards, or even any gimmicks at all, that card completely vanishes. You spread the deck face up, it really isn’t there. You open the box and show their card is inside.
Falling
