About the Trick

Nothing But The Truth 2.0 is a powerful and entertaining card trick that has worked its way into the repertoires of countless magicians over the past decade. This incredibly easy-to-perform effect requires no moves and packs a huge amount of entertainment value into just a handful of cards. With its gorgeous custom-printed gaff cards from Bicycle, this trick uses masses of audience interaction, allowing you to play as funny or serious as you like.

How it Works

The magician selects a card from the spectator, hides it away, and then reveals a state-of-the-art Lie Detector machine (actually a small packet of beautifully printed cards). A series of questions are asked of the spectator, who can choose to tell the truth or fib. The answers are input into the lie detector, revealing either the word TRUTH or LIE, depending on whether the spectator was honest or not. In a mind-blowing display of magic awesomeness, you then flip the lie detector packet over and show that all the cards are duplicates of the spectator's chosen card!

Features

This trick is perfect for walkaround, casual, or corporate performances, requiring no table or sleights. With its instant reset and super-easy handling options, this trick is a must-have for any magician looking to entertain their audiences.

Cameron Francis’ Nothing But The Truth is one of BigBlindMedia’s biggest selling tricks of ALL TIME! It’s an incredibly powerful effect that requires no moves and packs a huge amount of entertainment into just a handful of cards. Over the past decade it has worked it’s way into the repertoires of countless magicians - and for good reason. It uses masses of audience interaction (that you can play as funny or serious), has gorgeous custom printed gaff cards from Bicycle and features the mother of all kickers!

Now Nothing But The Truth 2.0 is here, featuring TWO force options - Queen of Spades and Four of Diamonds.

If you are looking for one trick that will thrill, entertain and completely STUN your audience - this is it! Simply put, it is one of the greatest card tricks BBM has ever released.

Nothing But The Truth: A card is selected by a spectator and hidden away. The magician (that's you) then reaches into their pocket and retrieves a state of the art Lie Detector machine. (Ok, its actually a small packet of beautifully printed cards that you carry round in your wallet or purse).

A series of questions are asked of the spectator. Is your card red or black? Is it a spot card or a court card? - That kind of thing. The spectator can choose to honourably tell the truth or fib like an incorrigible scoundrel.

Each answer is input into the lie detector (by placing one card from the top of the packet to the bottom for each letter of the random response), and the new top card is flipped face up. Incredibly this reveals either the word TRUTH or LIE (depending on whether the spectator was honest or not)!

Through this process the magician is able to correctly determine the value of the card picked by the spectator.

But that isn’t the end of the trick. No siree bob! In a mind-blowing display of magic awesomeness you now flip the lie detector packet over and show that ALL of the cards are infact duplicates of the spectator’s chosen card!!

Funny, commercial, engaging and insane FUN, Nothing But The Truth is the perfect packet trick. It slips into your pocket, but plays HUGE! It is self working (with some more advanced handling options offered on the download) and leaves a lasting impression on audiences of all sizes!

* Super easy - no sleights required (with alternative handlings for advanced versions!)
* Entertaining Plot
* Instant Reset
* No Table Required
* Perfect for walkaround, casual or corporate

“One of the best audience participation tricks that you can perform for laymen.” Stuart M. *****

“One of my all time favourite packet tricks. The fact that this trick is basically self-working gives it immediate appeal, because it puts it within the reach of practically anyone, including amateurs performing for friends and family. The main premise is a good one, and the concept of a lie detector time-tested favourite in card magic. But it's the final kicker that especially has the potential to surprise and amaze.” Endersgame Reviews *****

“Love this trick. Cameron is a great magician. Easy to do and a kicker finish. Fully recommended.” Anxel S. *****

“A good story line and excellent ending.” Lewis T. *****

“This has TONS of entertainment potential plus it is very fooling. It is a steal at half price. I use it constantly.” Ken *****

“A great trick for you to carry around, and you can have lots of fun with this pocket miracle!” Pete W. *****

“I love this type of packet trick with some interplay with the audience. The Lie Detector is an interesting and fun way to cheat.” Colin B. *****

“This is excellent! The story allows great interaction with the spectators. The cards are interesting. The instructions are thorough. The kicker ending is the icing on the cake. The surprise ending requires either an E.C. or, as an easier alternative, the Olram subtlety. A thought to preclude all true answers is say the detector is in beta test and encourage the spectator to lie occasionally to help "debug" the device. This guarantees the spectators will see both true and lie cards!” Phillip D. *****

"Incredibly awesome effect that I highly recommend you purchase." 4.5/5, Jeff Stone, Magic Reviewed.com
