Two Deck Dave by Jack Tighe

Experience the magic of Two Deck Dave, an exclusive video download from Big Blind Media. This sleight-free routine is a brilliant take on the classic ‘Any Card At Any Number’ trick, designed to leave your audience in awe.

Here’s how it works:

  • You present a red and a blue deck, placing the blue one aside in full view of your spectator.
  • The red deck is shown to have a number between 1 and 52 written on the back of each card.
  • Your spectator is invited to throw down a pile of red cards, mixing the deck as they please.
  • They create two facedown piles and choose to flip one card face up.
  • The face-up card (e.g., the 7 of Clubs) and the face-down card with a number (e.g., 16) are revealed.
  • Attention is drawn to the untouched blue deck, and the spectator counts down to the 16th card—miraculously, it’s the 7 of Clubs!

This self-working routine is not only easy to perform but also incredibly powerful, making it the perfect closer for any magic show.

A BBM EXCLUSIVE VIDEO DOWNLOAD – A truly brilliant ‘Any Card At Any Number’ that uses a Max Maven subterfuge to create a self working routine that plays like a CLOSER!

You bring out a red and a blue deck and place the blue one aside (in full view of your spectator). The red deck is then shown to have a number between 1 and 52 written on the back of each card. You ask your spectator to throw down a pile of red cards (even mixing the deck if they want). Whenever they feel like it they stop and then create two facedown piles from the cards they have. Now they choose to flip one of the cards atop a pile face up.

All this mixing and messing has ended with a card face up (say the 7 of Clubs) and a card face down with a number written on the back (say 16).

Now you draw attention to the blue deck that has lain untouched since the start of this little experiment. They take those cards themselves and count down to the 16th one. Wouldn’t you know it – it’s the 7 of clubs!

This sleight-free handling may be super easy to do, but boy is it powerful.
