For the first time since 2014 The Swedish Reel is back on the market – an official authorized version (Read more below). It is handmade and I make all of the reels in my workshop. It is a complicated and time-consuming process, and the demand is higher than the quantities I can produce. This means that the reel sometimes will be out of stock, but I will continuously make them. If it is out of stock – fill in the form and you will be notified as soon as it is back in stock.
The Swedish reel is premium product. The reel has a lock and a break, that also works as a shock absorber. The thread is about 2 meters (7 feet) and the tension of the thread is the same from start to end. The thread is 0.14mm thick and has a breaking strength of 11.5 kg – you will not break the thread.
