While the routine taught utilizes both a rubber band and an envelope for securing the stack, you have the flexibility to use just one or the other based on your personal preference or performance context. At the routine's conclusion, you can choose to let the spectator keep everything as a souvenir, inviting them to share the magic with friends, or simply have them retrieve only their special card. But first, what is THE FOMO PEEK?
THE FOMO PEEK is a test conditions full billet peek using a small stack of regular business cards that are un-gimmicked and un-gaffed. And instead of the subject’s card going into the mind reader’s wallet, it goes into the subject’s pocket for them to keep.
Here is the effect as the subject perceives it:
The subject writes two pieces of information on the blank side of a business card, and when done, turns their card face down. The face down card is then inserted in the middle of a small stack of business cards. The subject secures the stack of cards with a rubber band and puts the secured stack into a small envelope, seals the envelope, then puts it in their pocket.
A routine called “Psychic 70s” is included which explains and justifies the securing of the card in the stack, using both a rubber band and an envelope.
Once the envelope is in the subject’s pocket, the mind reader is able to reveal both pieces of information written.
Once the routine is over, if you wish, the subject may keep everything in their pocket, which you explain by telling them you hope they enjoyed the theatrical recreation of a psychic experience, and to please keep their card as a souvenir. And also keep the extra business cards to give away to any family, friends or colleagues who may be in need of great entertainment at a party or event in the future. If you prefer not to give away the extra business cards, have the subject remove the envelope from their pocket, remove the small stack of cards from the envelope and finally remove their card from the middle of the stack and keep just their card.
All of the cards, as well as the envelope and rubber band are un-gimmicked and un-gaffed. There is no DIY arts and crafts at all.
There is of course a little more to the routine with some choreography, and all steps are natural and justified.
The handling/method is completely different from Elvis, STARE or any of my other previous releases.

This will work with most standard sized US sized business cards, and most other business cards that are rectangular in shape that will fit in a small envelope.
I should add that securing the stack of business cards with both a rubber band and an envelope is not absolutely necessary. You could use one or the other. It is a personal preference of mine to use both in the routine taught.
