John van der Put – Penguin LIVE (Instant Download)
Don’t miss John van der Put – Penguin LIVE (Instant Download), the ultimate digital download to elevate your magic expertise! This 3-hour and 15-minute lecture is packed with mind-blowing tricks and techniques that will take your magic skills to the next level.
What You’ll Learn
- Visual Deck Producer: An appearing deck effect where an unfolded card box is shown on both sides, folded into a box, and then shaken to reveal a full deck of cards ready for use.
- VDP: A card effect where a signed selection changes piece by piece into a predicted card, keeping the spectator’s signature intact. As seen on Penn and Teller’s “Fool Us.”
- Out of the Box: A card under box effect with an “in the spectator’s hands” ending.
- Smoked: A marked (signed) cigarette rises and jumps out of a box held by a spectator.
- Everything to Envelope (E.T.E.): A multi-phase routine using two spectators where a signed bill and a signed card disappear and end up in a sealed envelope containing the performer’s business card.
- Double Revelation “Think of a Card” Routine: Using two spectators to reveal their thought-of cards.
- Dr. Daley’s Last Trick: A technically harder version of the classic trick, though less clean than the original.
- Flypaper: A card selection is quartered, with one piece left with the spectator. The remaining pieces are used for a hand-to-hand translocation, and at the conclusion, the three pieces are restored, with the spectator’s piece fitting the restored card.
- 4 Cards’ Transposition: Four of a kind, divided by color, change places twice before transforming into the aces.
This lecture is a treasure trove of advanced magic techniques that will leave your audience in awe. Perfect for both amateur and professional magicians looking to expand their repertoire.

In this 3 hrs, 15 mins long lecture, Van Der Put performs the following:
1. Visual Deck Producer. This is an appearing deck effect in which an unfolded card box is shown on both sides before being folded into box form. After a shake, the box is opened to reveal full deck of cards which can immediately be withdrawn for use.
2. VDP. As seen on Penn and Teller抯 揊ool Us.?1?7 A card effect in which a signed selection changes, piece by piece into a predicted card, while keeping the spec抯 signature intact.
3. Out of the Box. A card under box effect with an 搃n the spectator抯 hands?1?7 ending.
4. Smoked. A marked (signed) cigarette replaced in a box of cigarettes梙eld by a spectator梖irst rises, then jumps out of the box.
5. Everything to Envelope (E.T.E.) A multi-phase routine, using 2 spectators, in which a signed bill and a signed card disappear, and end up in an apparently sealed envelope that also contains the performer抯 business card.
6. Double Revelation 揟hink of a Card?1?7 Routine Using Two Spectators.
7. Dr. Daley抯 Last Trick. This is a technically harder version, which is less clean than the original. I don抰 see any practical advantage to this, and it doesn抰 look particularly good in Van Der Put抯 hands.
8. Flypaper. A card selection is quartered, leaving 1 piece with spectator. The remaining three pieces are used for an 揳t the fingertips?1?7 hand-to-hand translocation (a la 3-Fly). At the conclusion, the three pieces are restored; spec抯 4th piece fits the restored card.
9. 4 Cards?1?7 Transposition. 4 of a kind, divided by color, are placed at the outer ends of the deck and the middle, respectively. Colors change places two times, before the 4 cards transform into the aces.
