Begin by presenting the card case from all angles. Remove the cards and spread them out, showing both the front and back of each card. The case is then revealed to be empty. After placing the cards back into the box, ask a spectator to freely name any card—no forces or gimmicks involved. Then, with just one hand, open the flap, and watch as the chosen card slowly rises from the deck, ready to be displayed and removed.

Effect 2: The Chosen Card Rises Again

For the second effect, the card case is again shown from all sides, and each card is displayed front and back. After the case is proven empty, have a spectator freely select any card and return it to the deck. After placing the deck back into the box and opening the flap, the chosen card will rise from the deck, just as before.
