Taking a borrowed deck and performing true miracles is one of Dani DaOrtiz’s most powerful weapons. Chapter Five features an impossible discovery of a card from a shuffled deck and an incredible suit revelation.
Here’s what happens:
- A deck is borrowed and shuffled, and a random card is removed by a spectator. That card is then lost in the deck.
- The magician randomly divides the deck into three piles, two of which are face-down.
- Another spectator takes one of the face-down piles and deals cards, removing cards until they only have one card left, which is discovered to be the selected card.
- In an impossible kicker ending, the other packet of cards that was not chosen is revealed to be the entire suit of the selected card, which is in complete numerical order.
