Between theatrical exhibitions, immersive experiences, and private performances, all of these ten adventures taught me something new. Not all the pieces I created for these performances were perfect, but some mysteries resonated deeply with audiences in every single performance. Why? I concluded that a Perfect Mystery would always have highly deceptive strategies, accompanied by deeply personal and well-edited scripts, and were staged organically for that specific performance. THE SEMINARS
Each one of the 3 live online seminars will last 8 hours and be divided into two sessions of 4 hours. This way, we can explore each part of a composition in-depth and engage in a real conversation about the art form. The content of each seminar will mainly consist of new theories, unpublished strategies, and repertoire I never shared. To maximize this learning experience, I divided the information into three different topics.

  1 – Method & Choreography
  The first step is to understand the mechanisms behind deeply fooling illusions and, more importantly, how to make decisions while composing something completely new. This is the foundation of our art, but it’s highly overlooked even by professionals.
• 
  2 – Script & Storytelling
  Once we learn the construction rules of composition, we can start designing pieces that focus on emotion. Scripting elevates our magic to a higher level and is the key to turning a simple deception into something more profound, a multilayered experience your audience will remember.
• 
  3 – Performance & Experience
  No matter how good your composition and scripting skills are, they only become Magic with an audience. We will focus on how to stage a piece of Magic, fine-tune its delivery, and create a cohesive and moving experience for your audience. All key factors create a Perfect Mystery.

WHAT, WHERE & WHEN
The seminars will happen on Zoom via a link shared with all the participants. I will only release dates one seminar at a time. The METHOD & CHOREOGRAPHY SEMINAR will last 8 hours, split into two 4-hour sessions, and will happen over two consecutive days over a weekend:

JANUARY 25TH AND 26TH, 2025

WHAT WILL BE DISCUSSED
My goal with this first seminar is to focus on the impossible nature of Magic. Using the information and experience I have gathered over the years, I will share a simple and direct system for understanding why some methods are better than others. We will analyze several magic pieces to get to the essence of each plot.

Alongside these lessons, I will provide insights into my Axioms of Composition, a set of strategies and rules I have for magic composition. This seminar addresses all of my findings on this topic. Learn how to analyze and improve the level of deception in your repertoire or create new pieces that your audience will experience as impossible.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The repertoire I will share has never been in print, and I have closely guarded it for years. As an example, I will share the Butterfly Effect Force, a deceiving strategy I have used to have spectators create a random card but be able to control the outcome. Or Feeling Aces, a routine in which you have a spectator find the Aces in a deck he legitimately shuffles.

These techniques and methods will illustrate concepts I use to develop my repertoire. You will learn the Breadcrumb Metaphor, how to use Narrative as a Strategy to strengthen your methods deeply, and how the Aesthetic Value of a Composition affects the strength of the desired effect. WHAT YOU WILL GET
Once you sign up, you will already have information you can read and review in the days before the seminar. This will help you prepare better for the day of the event. During the event, and after each four-hour block, there will be an extra hour of Q&A. So, if you have any doubts or questions, I will have plenty of time to answer them.

What if you can’t make it in those days? Or can you only make it in one day? After the seminar, you will access the seminar footage to study all the material shared. Initially, I wanted not to have this, to encourage people to be at the seminar. I know some people might relax and only partially attend or see the contents later, which was not the purpose. Nevertheless, after many requests to record it, I decided this would be something all serious students would benefit from. So, a recording will be available!

I encourage you to test these ideas and get my feedback about how they can be applied to your repertoire. As a participant, you can access a page, submit a video link for the following three months, and receive my feedback about your performance. This will help you solidify and adapt the learning experience directly to your style. But there is still more…

SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED

• Will you give this Seminar again?

  I don’t plan to. This seminar makes sense because I have ended a creative cycle and want to share this part of my growth as an artist. My last seminar was in 2017 when I felt the same need. So, by 2032, I might be able to share something new. 🙂

• Is the seminar more technical or more theoretical?

  It’s a good balance between practical theory and new routines and choreographies. Although we will spend most of the time with a deck of cards in our hands, I will share many theoretical concepts about secret actions. For me, theory needs to serve practice, and I will ensure you understand how to apply each idea I share practically.

• Is the material taught going to be in Secret Language Vol. 2?

  Most of the routines I will share are not on Secret Language Vol. 2, including the Butterfly Effect Force or one that leaves spectators genuinely believing you have an incredible memory.

• Are these routines for formal close-up conditions?

  Most of my work is because those are the conditions I perform in. However, the lessons I will teach can be applied to any other setting or field of Magic.

• Can me and my friends attend different sessions using the FRIENDS Discount?

• How will I access all the information needed?

• Will this be recorded?

  This is a live event, and you should attend it, no matter what. Your experience will be better that way. Nevertheless, after many requests, the seminars will be recorded, and a copy will be accessible to all participants.

• Can I ask you anything in the Q&A Sections?

  You can, but I might not answer it. The focus should be on the material, ideas, and concepts I will share, but I welcome any pertinent questions about Magic if we find some extra time.
